SUMMARY OF THE PARTNERSHIP
The partnership follows up knowing the culture of each country involve in it and knowing the historical past which often led to many confrontations between people. Identify solutions for a united nations of Europe where children with distinct ethnic, migrations’children, different religions,varied cultures or values systems. It proposes to know each other by common activities, by transfer of expertise and good practice, by promotion tolerance, disproof xenophobia and the racism, by promotion the multicultures specific to each country from partnership, by identification of separatism elements and elements of unity as well as some ways of action for neutralize the separatism elements.
The partnership has in view the learning foreign languages, utilization of new technologies in educational process (ICT), a new school disposition curriculum achievement, strengthening the learning process by increase the quality and attainment common key competences.
The end products will be done through cooperation and in teamwork and they ‘ll have in view the varied cultures fertilization.
The partnership proposes itself finding methods by these school can offer to assert ownself equal chances(social and professional) in condition of increasing the mobilitiy of labor force, in a united Europe and it’s characterized like a competitor society.
In fact, the proposed partnership translate the ideas of pluralism, multiculturalism and tolerance in educational field.PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGY
1.General objective:
to promote intercultural education and common European values (tolerance, respect for others culture, cultural and linguistic diversity, fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination of all types), as parts of the education for an European active citizenship.
Specific objectives:
- to raise pupils, teachers, parents, communities awareness concerning the problems generated by racism, xenophobia and discrimination (especially gender, religion, ethnic origins) in an European multicultural society;
- to support partner schools in the development of a friendly, inclusive environment in school and communities in order to insure equal chances to education for all students and to improve the instructive-educational process;
- to develop to pupils, teachers, parents new intercommunication and interrelation skills (including in foreign languages), the team working spirit, no matter the gender,religion,ethnic origin, race,age;
- to promote the national cultures of the partner countries as parts of an European culture without the fear of loosing their own identity;
- to prepare young generation to be active European citizens in an open, multicultural world, in order to avoid social and professional exclusion.
2. Subjects:
History, Geography, Civics, Foreign languages (English), Mother Tongue, Arts and ICT
Problems: the existence in partner schools of some discrimination and segregation aspects that generate sometimes different conflicts usually involving students, parents; an old mentality and attitude of some teachers concerning the multicultural and multi-ethnic school communities; teachers lack of experience in working with different intercultural disadvantaged groups of children and parents.
3. The objectives will be achieved during the 2 years of project implementing the activities, based on a plan established at partnership level and personalised in each school (annex to the schools management plans).
The project teams selected based on specific criteria (pupils, teachers, parents) will be involved in all stages of the project (planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination), on the basis of common specific plans, detailed in each partner school. The project teams will ensure a permanent and effective communication and cooperation, both by using Internet and by project meetings organized in each partner school. The teams will also insure the project sustainability, by disseminating the project's results, experience and using the end products
RELEVANCE TOWARDS THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
- To improve the quality and to increase the volume of mobility involving pupils and educational staff in different Member States
- To improve the quality and to increase the volume of partnerships between schools in different Member States, so as to involve at least 3 million pupils in joint educational activities during the period of the programme
- To encourage the learning of modern foreign languages
- To support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practice for lifelong learning
- To enhance the quality and European dimension of teacher training
- To support improvements in pedagogical approaches and school management
