Treasure Hunt Game by Hungarian team was introduced to students of
partner school so that they can explore Budapest in an entertaining and
funny way. Mixed-nationality teams had a task sheet - downloadable
from here - and had to recognise and find the sights and take a group
photo at the venue. Their Hungarian "guides" (students) were with them
to help and provide information about the landmarks and buildings. |
On the 1st IPM, the Hungarian partner organised a visit to the Invisible Exhibition where students and teachers could experience the lives of the blinds and people with visual impairs with the help of a guide having the same conditions. We spent about an hour in complete darkness while we were moving in and around model rooms, streets and places. Everybody must count on their senses except for sight.
It was quite a weird and very useful experience and a huge step towards acceptance and tolerance and all the participants gained essential information about how we could help people who have problems and troubles with seeing. |
